Olivia and Leonore are two sisters raised in cosmopolitan London by a German father and a French mother. They grew up understanding the hotel and restaurant industry while travelling the world, as their father was a founding member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World and owner of an SLH hotel. 

Leonore started her career in journalism. Her curiosity prompted her to write for a variety of sectors including travel (Time Out Beirut), fashion (ELLE in New York) and lifestyle (Paris Match). After publishing « The Food Guide: Beirut on a plate » with Olivia, she joined Caprice Holdings, a famous restaurant group in London, as Press Manager.

Olivia has a background in the contemporary art market and worked in the communications department of a number of museums and art centers in Paris (Centre Pompidou & La Fondation Ricard) and then as an art and events director for private collectors in Berlin, Beijing and Switzerland. 

Self-publishing a culinary book with Leonore was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of her life which prompted her to create with her sister the Don’t Believe in Jet Lag Food & Travel communications agency in 2016.
