Our guide to Beirut isn’t simply about food, it’s about good food. Unlike others, we won’t recommend the cool, the hip, the beautiful and the charming. Our goal is to lead you to places that ooze taste and flavour. This may include the ugly, but will save you from ever having to encounter the bad.

  • Researched, edited and published a 250-page and digital culinary guide to Beirut & Lebanese Cuisine
  • Supervised all design production – designed by Felio Sotomayor 
  • Sold over 4000 books - on iTunes, Amazon and across 25+ points of sale in Europe & the Middle East
  • Responsible for all marketing and promotional activities
  • Manage all sales, invoicing, enquiries and customer service

Promotional activities

  • Organised a book launch in Beirut at L’Epicery – which was entirely funded by partnerships
  • Coordinated book club pop-ups across Beirut in various independent book stores
  • Participated in a Farmers Market – Souk el Tayeb in Beirut – where we sold homemade products as well as the guide
  • Sold Beirut in a Box, which included the book and food samples introducing Lebanon's cuisine to the rest of the world
  • Organised an English Afternoon Tea at Behind the Green Door in Beirut, which introduced this British tradition to Beirutis
