Les Manoirs des Portes de Deauville is a four-star boutique hotel, located a few kilometres away from the hustle and bustle of Deauville in Normandy. The hotel offers privacy and relaxation, with its 27 accommodation units, spread across the manor and cottages, each carefully decorated in a comfortable yet minimalist style. Whilst the décor remains modern and simple, the structure itself, with its exposed beams and authentic Norman half-timbered and thatched exterior, is reminiscent of its rich history. The building, which is an 16thand 17thcentury manor and a registered historical building, was formerly called Le Manoir de Prétot and belonged to none other than Marie Corneille, the sister of French tragedian Pierre Corneille. Today, it has become a pleasant link between the past and the present.
