A sanctuary amid the bustle of Stoke Newington, WOLF is a neighbourhood restaurant, which opened in August 2016 and celebrates authentic Italian food – and the Italian way of eating. Using the finest local produce as well as specialty Italian ingredients, owner Antony Difrancesco and Head Chef Karla Knowles, previously at Petersham Nurseries, create seasonal, regional dishes that hail from all corners of the country.

Creamy burrata, tender gnudi and richly flavoured ragu: this is food that’s supposed to be lingered over. And with an uncomplicated, all-Italian wine list; cocktails made with home-infused spirits; and freshly ground Italian coffee; there are plenty of reasons to stay a little longer.

From weekend brunch through to cosy late-night suppers, WOLF is open all day long. So leave the frenetic pace of London at the door. Spend a little time at WOLF.

In Italy and at WOLF, the food on people’s plates changes with the seasons.
Delicate asparagus and fresh peas in spring, crisp salads in summertime and earthy root vegetables for winter. Meals are never rushed. Sitting down to eat together, families and friends take time to savour the rich produce of their homeland. In Italy and at WOLF, food is king.
